HELP FEED THE HUNGRY IN THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC DURING THE COVID CRISIS
This is the new DOMINICAN STARFISH FOUNDATION fundraising site for food packs in the Dominican Republic. This includes all communities, all initiatives. If you wish for your donation to go to a certain group or individual, please indicate in your comments.
During this time of severe social crisis, the people in the Dominican Republic are hungry, very hungry. Many don’t have the luxury of refrigeration and even when they were working only bought for from one day to the next to subsist. Crowds are at the door of our Dominican Starfish Director Amarilis Urena hoping to be able to get something to feed their families.
Since Covid-19 crisis locked down the whole country of the Dominican, Dominican Starfish Foundation has already raised money to feed people in several communities. This will be our ongoing site for food pack donations.
The need continues and we hope our help can continue. Thanks for everyone who sees the need and reaches out even during your own personal crisis.
Please help if you can. I know Louise and have donated many times to the Starfish Foundation to help others. This is critical. Some are living on sugar and water. You will receive a receipt for taxes. What else can I say except please donate.
